Well......I am now further in debt but graduated a CDL school on 12/12.
Take the DMV test in Riverside on the 23rd.
I have spent the last 2 days filling out online apps.
Seems like these recruiters are kinda like the ones for the military.....Hurry up and wait.
You send all of your info and then while waiting for a responce they go on vacation or quit...
    Worried about the test (normal).
Worried about another year with NO Christmas
    (bummer).
Really worried because so many companies have gone down in flames recently.
Worried about having a trainer from Hell as some of you folks have had to deal with...
Good old C.R. England will "let" me join the herd for the small fee of $550.00, thought that was very nice of them (not).
Guess I should have jumped in years ago but it is too late to "worry" about that.
Perfect driving record, no criminal thingies, no sex with chickens or any of the other things folks in here have done. No, not ALL of you...
So, I will do my best on the 23rd and hope someone will hire me without more expenses.

Keep your head up... And best of luck, even though you won't need it for the test. You have already BTDT...

    Yes Good Luck.............

On your manuevers take your time follow your lines and ask quesions if not sure before you start...........

When on the road test.........give yourself enough space for your right turns........(that is where a large amount of people fail).....the other is issing or loosing gear.

Actually, if you were in 6th, means you were going no more than 20 mph on freeway, which is prob'ly why he failed you, not the fact that you missed a gear.

I just took my road test, and I missed 9th, dropped to 8th, and popped back up into 9th again on my way to 10th gear.... test admin took points off, but didn't fail me. (Also, could be a state issue as well.... some states are more achtung than others!)

You guy would have loved my test. It consisted of going around the block LOL. I kept the DOT guy talking, and laughing the whole time. Made a bunch of mistakes whick kept his mind off of my driving. Got into the yard and was giving a passing grade. :)

Good luck Papa T it could happen to you as well..
