I'm new to all this and keep reading about D.A.C and how you should check it from time to time. Exactly what is this and how do you go about checking it? I did a search on here but only came up with post where it was mentioned. When I tried the web it really didn't turn up much either.
From what I'm reading it sounds more like a record companies keep on drivers and not your driving record. Is this the case?

Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

D.A.C/U.S.I.S Is a reporting aggency for employment just for truckers!!!
My opinion is this company is tearable!!! It could be a good thing but many trucking companies are aubuseing this aggency to discredit drivers
causing them not to be able to find a job with other trucking companies. -
I did a cursory Google search on both DAC and USIS, DAC came up with nothing, USIS had some but not restricted to trucking.
DAC works by subscription, mostly large companies using it. I see what happens as a way of getting back at an employee who has either quit or been fired as opposed to being laid off.
I have avoided the large companies for that reason. -
Will truck driving school be on my dac report?
-
Probably not. In order for a business to input information into the DAC/USIS database the company must be a subscriber to DAC/USIS.
-
It's not just for the motor carrier industry however that is the vast majority of the business for DCA/USIS.
You must have had some bad reports on USIS/DAC. You know you can appeal anything on a report from that company by simply contacting USIS/DAC on their website, print the applicable form, and mail it to USIS in Tulsa. If it is conclusive that the data from a motor carrier is blatantly incorrect, DAC/USIS must penalize that company by law up to and including not allowing that company from receiving any of their reports.
P.S. I corrected your spelling errors for you in the above post.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I tried doing a search but came up with all sorts of junk that had nothing to do with trucking including donating your old car.
