Ford building cars in India for import to USA

My wife and I are currently in the market for a new car and are specifically looking at the mid size suv that Ford offers. Specifically the edge. I don't foresee us getting a smaller suv like the one mentioned. Our current car is a 2002 crv with 270k miles. She's not on her last leg, but its definitely getting tired.

 

In my opinion the edge is a piece of ####. Do yourself a favor and look at the jeeps or kia Hyundai but stay away from the Ford product they have everyone bullshitted with their (we didn't take a bailout) because they saved so much money with poor quality control and there r&d is so bad compared to other companies

 

I won't drive a Hyundai and my wife won't drive anything related to dodge. Honda Chevy, or ford is our limits. Mainly because for services needed. Those are the dealers that are closest to my home. Since she's the one driving it, it's going to be her being inconvenienced when she has to take it in. 20 miles away for one of those 3, or 50+ miles for the others

 

That's funny cause all I buy is fords or Dodges and have had no issues with fords except the 2012 focus with the automatic trans but my 04 mach 1,2016 st both been great vehicles and my family all buys fords and no problems.It also helps that my brother in law runs a ford dealership and I get cars with 0% interest and dealership cost lol

 

Well I got a good look at the pos Ford,, just my opinion and I don't care what people think but if you buy a new Ford you're not very smart. There f series trucks are garbage compared to a Ram. Our township bought a couple of fords last year and all 3 are gone they were at the dealership more than working.. they replaced them with the rams and no trouble..

 

I drive a Toyota when not driving a Peterbilt.
IMO except for the mustang a corvette, Ford and Chevy suck. And dodge is now fiat.

 

I just wish we could purchase these here in the United States.
