    i have this cobra and was wondering if its worth anything its an older radio with the chrome grill but just checking into it and also is there much i can do about turning it up abit and making it abit more powerful .does any truck stops have the mics that plug in and not screw in?all the ones i stop in just have the screw in ones.thanks for any help and be safe

    I wouldn't waste my time and money on an 18. I hate those things. Personally, I wouldn't buy anything less than a Cobra 29.

    I agree...The Cobra 18's are without a doubt the worst radios Cobra has ever came out with. Nice idea they had behind the radios thou..."weather channels, and a front speaker"...But for some reason, Cobra really dropped the ball on the electronic parts inside the radio...
