    there was an ad in the local paper a few weeks ago looking for drivers frm the lower 48 with at least 2 yrs exp. with hazmat endoresment driving tankers in Alaska.. they had a phone nr. listed also.. if it's ok with the forum administrators i can list it here, or snd it to them & let them verify it to see if it's a legit nr, i didn't call myself to chk it out..

    I have heard that getting a job like that in Canada is really tough unless you're Canadian; they tend to hire other Canadians before they hire someone from a different country. I have Hugh as a myspace friend and that's what he told me when I asked him about it.

    They drive on roads with ice (compacted snow) on them? Or they drive on lakes with ice bridges engineered for truck traffic?
