I-70 Colorado now in March ok?

We both know that Wyoming don’t need water or clouds to shut down I 80.

 

In APRIL 2015 we had that massive multi truck pile up just west of Laramie. I vacationed in Wyoming in August and it snowed! Take I-40. You won't regret it.

See the chart at the top? Those are the corresponding wind gust speeds. Sustained is much lower. Purple is pretty good. Sustained speed atm I'm Wyoming is like 5.

Being a licensed private pilot I sometimes would use the 800 number and get a weather brief for a selected city IF it was winter and I was concerned about conditions. I have been involved in many whiteout conditions on I 80 going west out of Laramie. My last few years with the advent of the internet and many aviation weather reports online I used charts like the below. This is a summary of an hourly report from a weather reporting station.
