I am not really bothered if the color of the trucks change or even if we pull knight and swift trailers. As long as the money is still there and we don't have any of the nonsense I hear knight drivers complain about, then I'm good.

The one thing ill say is this ...you don't want knight in charge of your payroll..i speak from experience..your payroll will be short every week... they have a history of trying to steal money from folks..Redtwin Thanks this.
-
I worked for Knight during 2012-2013. Very rarely had issues with payroll. Not saying I haven’t heard this rumor before, but I didn’t experience it.JohnBoy and ExtremeUnction Thank this.

Well...an o/o..i had to call every week and ask where my $900-$1000 is that was short?....it got to the point where i put qualcomm msg that i wasn't picking up load till money was in my acct...i got fed up with it

Wow just heard the sad news about the purchase. Been following this thread since JB started it. Good luck to all of you...you seem like a great group...wouldn’t wish Knight/Swift on anyone.

Parked last night at the Davy Crockett TA in Baileyton, TN. Exit 36 offa I-81. Still got that load of Mack truck parts going to Elkridge.
We had some weather there last night, lemme tell you. Lots of rain, lightning, thunder, even some hail.
I was sitting comfortably in the back of my cab watching Japanese cartoons when alla the sudden I hear the loudest crack of thunder I have ever heard in my life. Sounded like it hit the ground a few feet from the cab. I had all the curtains drawn, but I could see the flash around the sides. And I could feel the hair on my arms and neck standing straight up.
Jumped out of the cab to see what had happened and, to make a long story short, this is what my truck looks like now:
All the Mack truck parts are still in the trailer, and it's still a Volvo 680, so I'm tentatively calling it a win. We'll see what Bill has to say when I get back to the yard.Silverdriver, Swedish Chef, Voyager1968 and 8 others Thank this. -

Bill will have a lot to say when he finds out the 780 he issued you shrank and lost a couple sleeper windows.
JohnBoy and ExtremeUnction Thank this. -
I'll just tell him to be grateful it didn't turn into an International ProStar.
-
I'm sure he would just agree with you and go along his merry way. One day I will be as laid back as Bill.JohnBoy and ExtremeUnction Thank this.
