I was saying just that about the 2019's that are coming out when I was in my trainers truck. I said hopefully they'd have some of the kinks worked out with that bendix system.

 

I've heard you say that before about the distraction it would cause with a student. I couldn't agree more. I would think the trainer would be "the whistle and bell".

 

65 minutes.Google maps showed only a 7 minute delay.
Totally blew out my landing plans for the afternoon, stuck in some #### hole Pilot in Heiskell, TN.

 

Also, was told it will be this way every weekend thru end of April. Just FYI for trip planning, if during weekend try to hit it overnight.

 

Charleston was my fuel stop... until the pumps went down. Luckily I took on enough before they went down to get to Trenton (I hope anyway) so I didn't wait and burn up more of my clock, not that it mattered in the end. It was just one of those days man, what can ya do.

 

That sounds like a great day....not! Sucks as soon as winter is over boom we start dealing with all the orange messes. St Louis is a cluster right now too as they have bunch of lanes closed before taking the 55south exit by that craphole they call a baseball stadium... We are headed to Sparta to deliver some beer in the morning and then over to La Crosse Id imagine.

 

I sat in that crap in St. Louis Friday. I'm hittimg all the good ones this weekend.
