I'd have looked around for John Quiñones to come popping out from the show "What Would You Do?".
Blackshack46 and JReding Thank this. -
i'd have told him to go pound sand. since he was already parked, not like he just got there. even still, once i park, i stay parked. no need to move for ANYONE except say a construction worker, or utility worker that absolutely NEEDS that spot to perform thier jobs. like repairing a light pole or fixing a deep pothole. then if one still does not move, the detail cop or truck stop manager would come out, and ask you, maybe even give you a meal voucher or a paid spot no charge.
otherwise, never give up your spot.Blackshack46 and Badmon Thank this. -

I didn't know you could leave your truck at a truck stop for a couple of days.
What happens when there are no spots left at a truck stop and you're pretty much over your 11-hour daily limit? Are you forced to drive to another stop?Studebaker Hawk Thanks this. -
People have to go home once in a while man. Not everybody can put a truck in their driveway.
I have left my truck at truckstops for a few days plenty of times. Taking a 34=mini vacation, rental car, hotel, family nearby, etc... i will not now nor ever apologize for that.
Crap when i ran Syracuse 3x’s a week, would get a room at the Holiday Inn Express behind the Flying J in New Milford, Pa 2x’s a week. Always parked at the J when i did.
& that ‘lil bar across the way had some pretty good grub too
Brucely Thanks this. -
