    I'm new to the forum and was hoping for a little help, I don't have much info on these yet
    I have an 18 Navistar with a couple codes, was looking for a little direction, 1569:31 and 3516:4

    3516-4 is for your DEF quality sensor out of range low, failed sensor. If the code is active you likely need a need a new sensor. This is a combo sensor that is built into the level sensor for the DEF tank. They are somewhat a high failure rate item.

    1569-31 is logged when you ignore the first code for too long and indicates your truck will be derated.

    thanks heavyd, it only had 13k miles on it so they kicked it out of here to the dealer. I also found out there was a ecm update recall that was ignored having to do with this issue as well.
