    Sounds pretty good if they are actually paying fuel and tolls, etc.. yikes really good

    At 1500 miles a week he is not working a full 14 hrs. I know a couple guys who run extraboard for Estes. They run 3000+ miles a week at $.68/mi and usually come close to 70hrs in 5 days. If you do the math this is a far better deal then they are offering you. If you want to work LTL just be a company driver and let them own the equipment. JMO..
