well i was looking around for a new laptop to play games... my current laptop was midrange 3 years ago and is getting a little sluggish at times. then i realized for the price of a decent laptop i could pick up a 360 and an lcdtv for the truck. there's a couple 360-only games that look really good, otherwise i'd've prolly hopped on a ps3.

any experience with this setup? what kind of power requirements or power inverter would i need? i've got a really nice 24" lcd for my pc at home, so the lcdtv wouldn't have to be to extravagant.

For the power inverter, find the specs on what you want, add the wattage up, then double it. That is the lowest you should go for the inverter. The TV isn't going to take that much, the 360 will use a ton of juice. Wattage may spike from time to time, usually during heavy gameplay or watching DVDs.

I've had a PS2 on my truck, got rid of it last year though. I got along fine with a 300 watt inverter.
