You can't blame a company for taking advantages of tax code. They don't write the tax code. I take advantage of every legal way three is to lower my tax burden. Why wouldn't they do the same?

If had had been possible to spread the tandem axles a bit more, then 50 tonne would have been possible.
I know that dry concrete has a density of 2.4 tonne/m³, and that is the weight I used for my calculations. I don't know the weight of wet concrete, and more important, wet concrete in a mixer contains a lot of air. After pouring the concrete they have to get the air out. So it may well be that the density of concrete in the mixer is just 2 tonne/m³.

 

You can calculate between 2250 and 2350 for normal concrete, depending where yoz are from what kind of gravel is inside how much cement, and you can calculate 50 liter of water in tank for one qubic meter of concrete. However they mostly fill 600L in morning and use it sd long as can....weight optimised mixers usually use 300L water tank

 

Most Dutch mixers are not allowed to have water with them.
Has to do with the BENOR quality label.
The more water you add the weaker the concrete.

 

How do they clean them?

 

The water on a mixer isn't for putting in the concrete, it's for cleaning out the drum and chute after dumping. I've been around a ton of big construction sites and nevet seen them mix the water in on site. They do that before loading up.

 

@98989 or anyone else that uses real facts... Do you happen to know the math formula to figure out engine rpm at a set speed? My truck has 11r22.5s and I'm considering going to low pro 22.5s, caused they are so much easier to find when you need a tire out on the road. I need to do the math to make sure it won't mean i have to run the engine at to high an rpm in order to maintain 65 mph.

Other numbers: tranny ratio in top gear is .73
Rear end ratio is 3.73

The formula is something like tranny ratio times gear ratio times tire rpm times 5280 divided by 12 or shone such nonsense. I can't remember the formula and Google is failing me. I keep getting lots of calculators but they all spot out a different number so obviously are not accurate.

 

Even then things can go wrong. Very sad.
