Because we're hauling fuel [ dangerous goods] the fuel company that we haul for requires us to have a computer monitoring our speeds if we even go 1 km per hour above the limit for more than 2 seconds it'll show up on our record as over speeding talk about no leeway for speeding and i thought the police were strict at least they'll give you 5 - 10 % buffer.Dan.S Thanks this.

Remove the speed sensor and it will show 0mph while you creep to a place to park.
-
Yeah and lose job .. cant do that man..
-
Wouldn't it just use gps to track speed?
-
An internal systen separate from the eld might, but by law the eld cannot calculate speed from gps. It must use info provided by the ecm.
To the op. Sounds like you are in Canada? If you are it's just the company being silly. No eld's are required in Canada. -
It might but it isn't as accurate as the Speedo reporting to the computer. He could get a very, very(i e 25 foot range) GPS jammer and use it at the same time.
-
####s goofy now. Im local so it doesn't affect me and my boys
-
With OP's company, if they just barely touch the accelerator, it registers overspeed
-
Is anyone else having the 5 mph rule? Is this suppose to be federal or not ?
KB3MMX Thanks this.
