US Foods is the same. Cause your reorganizing every pallet. Sysco does the same. Touching product 2-3 times. 14 hrs easy. Also you see them cruising around a 28” and think that’s easy. Well they can stuff 700+ cases in that little trailer with no 2 wheeler room. Then you start off an hour late cause your moving boxes around to get in the trailer. I lost 50lbs my first 3 months at US Foods. My buddy worked for Sysco said it’s the same. Also humping a block to deliver or up and down stairs. Having to dig out frozen out the side door in the freezer on a small step ramp stairs. I fell from that and f’d up my wrist trying to brace myself. Still messed up today. While McLane is hard work it’s not as bad as those two places. My buddy left Sysco and is with McLane and says he’s way less aggravated then when he was with Sysco. Only good thing about US Foods is the 4 day work week and no weekends. Even though it’s a day shift 2-4am it’s too early. I find my self with getting 4-5hrs of sleep a night. family people would try to live a normal life and get 2-3hrs of sleep. Crazy.Shaggy Thanks this.
