If you log out and log in at the same location how would that cost your job? Your log would show off duty while you’re logged out. Same as of your truck is in the shop.
5mph and I am on drive line .. Is that standard now?

I have rand mcnally eld. Its on manual. When i move off-duty at home. Working on trk etc, it says something like movement detected log on. I just ignore it. Never got a phone call, or messed up my 34hr or weekend off- duty time. Once on half hour break i had to move. Went to log back on- duty drive, it said detected movement..set 3 more minutes. So i did and that was end of it. I realize there is difference in log devices.

What’s the difference in the truck moving around the same area either logged out or at 4mph? If it moves, it moves. If they’re telling you to creep around without tripping to drive they should be fine with you moving in the same area logged out. Lying is lying, if ones good the other should be too.
