Eld or not, you have to log the trip.

Actually, if you even flew to Oklahoma and were getting paid for it, you have to log it on duty, not driving.
    Jus sayin

Yes, technically you need to log it, based solely on being over your 12 hours for the day.

Would I? I plead the fifth..

We have quite a few drivers that do drive away and then fly back off duty but before they can drive again they must take 10 hours off

Say's who. I do not log hometime activities, or small hps to a shipper, or receiver, or so forth. I do not log my shower, ####, shine, or piss time. I would not have any electronic devices in any of my trucks, and never will. So i can drive with a paper log in small hops, at any speed. Unlike those i have heard about the ELD and speed/distance and it logs it. #### on that

Lite bug and Timin770 Thank this.

If your ELD malfunctions, you can run paper for up to 8 days.

    What do you know? Malfunction!

(You didn't here this from me. I know nothink. I was never here.)
