    1. Get married
    2. Get excited about how awesome it's going to be
    3. Wait
    4. Wait some more
    5. Start to get mad
    6. Go insane
    7. Watch your life fall apart
    8. Think about the 15 years you let someone flush down the toilet for you
    9. Get mad some more

Wait wait wait this isn't working...I thought I knew what I was doing for a some reason.

There is a difference between just having the blues and clinical depression. Everyone of us get the blues from time to time. The lifestyle of the average OTR trucker is NOT conducive to getting that warm fuzzy feeling every night. The blues is but a minor irritant that unfortunately is part of the job. Clinical depression is WAY outside the scope and intent of this forum. As to the blues? Well this may sound mean but get over it or get out of trucking. This industry is dog eat dog and as I see it there are only 2 solutions. 1 go see a truck stop chaplain or 2 go find this person------

For depression I'd go to Ecclesiastes. That guy will cheer you up!

Just for the record. I'm old school. I make no apologies for this. However I remember reading somewhere that a University in Michigan was giving tinker toys and play doh to (college age) students because they could not handle the outcome of the 2016 election. When I see such a thread I begin to wonder at the age of some of the people making comments. God help this country if these 2 topics are related.
