I dont know of anyone who does it today but my oldest brother used to put canned goods (soup etc) on the manifold, back in the 70's, for a while before lunch. Just remember to have a towel or glove on before retrieving the can...lol
Oxbow, NavigatorWife, driverdriver and 2 others Thank this. -
I used to heat up my food on the manifold, then Burton came out with the lunchbox heater. That was like a dream come true.
Farmerbob1, driverdriver and 1278PA Thank this. -
I can vouch for Burton quality. Found at TA.
It will probably take long. But it will work. I’d say start it in the morning. Should be good at lunch.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
The lunch box ovens work for that.
I've known a few people to keep a small grill in the truck. Steak, pork chops, brats, whatever, whenever you want. I've seen camping grills that use the small propane bottles, with a burner on the side so you can use pots or pans as needed.Lav-25, NavigatorWife and laaylor Thank this. -
I used a lunchbox oven for everything for years! They work great! I even used to make grilled cheese in it! Lol
RedRover, blairandgretchen and NavigatorWife Thank this.
