Most days I don't go outside if I'm not working unless itas to go to the gym or store but I screwed up my left arm Thursday and can just now move it decent tonight. I think I tore something. Most all day today I couldn't bend my elbow without almost crying it hurt so much.

I don't chain up as a general rule but our area is east of the river so it's pretty docile terrain anyway. I used to deliver a lot of fly ash to manning but not so much anymore. My first time going south on 22 was at night to bia 14 with a truck that had a engine brake that mostly made noise with practically no actual slowing effect. Wasn't a fun night at all. I'm sure glad we don't take much water back there. Every once in awhile we fill some fracs or bring salt water back there. The international in the picture has a Cummins in it with a bad engine brake lol. It's still one of my favorite trucks to run though. I'm not a fan of our peterbilts at all.

Goddragon555,
You seem like s pretty hard worker, but as crude truckin’ said, I think you need a better job. Your experience and hazmat if you haven’t got it will open the door to being treated much better than it sounds like you are now. Don’t sell yourself short man.Crude Truckin' Thanks this. -
I'd go to oil. Yes, its commission based for the most part, but you're by yourself, no service work, no sucking up water puddles, you have one job as an oil hauler and that's to move oil. If my current oilfield gig wasn't as cake as it is, I'd consider going back to hauling oil. Try Hofmann Trucking, Top Shelf, Prairie Services, and you cant forget the Swift of the oilfield, MBI.
rabbiporkchop and Goddragon555 Thank this. -
What did you find that was a better fit for you? I’ve been hauling crude for seven years and it’s been really good to me but I’m always open for a better opportunity.Crude Truckin' Thanks this.

The company I worked for from 05 to 09 in Mandan wanted to get into bulk chemical deliveries to fracs, and wanted me to come back to them in 2016. Made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Paddlewagon and MagnumaMoose Thank this.
