I keep seeing these LongHaulTrucking.com rigs on the road advertising that they're hiring at 48cpm for company drivers. What's the real story here?

I don't know about them specifically, but usually a high CPM on the back of a truck is only if you have years and years of experience and every endorsement known to man.

    1700 miles at .48 is $816.

Far to many are hung up on miles. What does it average a year. Hell Heartland was at 50 for awhile. But you were lucky to make 1700 in 6 days.

Most have a tiny asterisk * with even tinier paragraph under that saying conditions which are not obtainable.

    Awww heck.

I feel like a broken record here.

I left a company gig 3 years ago that paid .70 cpm.

    Left it.

I’d question anything below .60cpm now.

Yea I got accepted by a company paying 51 to 55 cpm depending if northeast. But they average 2300 to 2600 miles a week but I've heard from drivers I got 1700 miles last week. Just because a company pays more doesn't mean you'll get miles you gotta consider both inputs. Good miles plus good pay you need experience and a good record
