Have a 95 KW W900L quad axle demo dump truck with a 3406 E, 3.55 402 rears . It has 650+ HP, so getting around in that regard isn't a problem, however with the current transmission and rear ends it's just plain geared too high for some of the terrain we run. I'd like to keep the ratio we run in high gear, but would prefer some better ratios for running on dirt than what we have. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Swap rear ends or transmission?

yup, forgot that I see.
RTO15715
Thanks -
Only real option for lower gear choices is an 18 speed then.
Justrucking2 Thanks this. -
Are you driving it or hired driver(s)?

Won't low gearin deep reduction in a 15 be almost the same as an 18 in low gear? Can't remember now lol getting old sucks
-
If I remember right low low in a 18 is even lower then his 15 and the splits are closer together too. So overall better for what he's doing
SAR Thanks this. -
18 Speed all the way.
Most versatile trans. Can run as a 9, 13 or 18 ... Love Em.
A 3.73 or 3.90 rear would be perfect though.
