    Shutdown is one thing, I'd even go along...so that I can find some excuse to screw around the house for a month or so, without my wife nagging at me....but the thing is, that I see too many people actually in love with ELDs, how would anyone convince them to the case?

    After all your comments about ELD mandate, everyone agrees that this mandate WILL NOT SOLVE THE ACCIDENTS , period. Therefore is a BIG LIE and everyone knows that, however some of us care more about profit , profit and profit , right ? So who gives a F about fair treatment? If I’m making money why should I care about monopoly? Why should I care about the right thing or other people’s right ? I’m making Money F the principles
    Pretty soon big companies will realized that fat people are to risky ( medical Insurance) to drive their trucks , so they will mandate only skinny should drive commercial vehicles , so since I’m skinny I will say F fat people, who cares about them..... I’m making money !!!!!
    Big companies will realized that if you want to drive you must be able to fix their trucks for free ...... since I know how to fix trucks , I will say F the drivers who don’t know how to fix trucks , I’m going to make more money !!!! I don’t give a F about anyone else as long as I work hard and I can feed my family .....
    enough said !!!
    Hopefully there is a mandate to check your prostate every after 14 hrs .

    The folks “in love with eld” just don’t know any better. Drivers who ran paper before are not the ones in love with eld, it’s the ones who haven’t and we’re sold unicorns and rainbows

    I was running legal on paper and making money .
    Rates are good and truck supply is tight .
    Won't be parking my truck and might be hard to explain to my financial provider I'm parking it to be an outlaw if I did .

    I ran paper for the first two years of my career in this industry. I volunteered to switch to the ELD and couldn't have been happier. Now I don't have to always be paranoid about my logs being up-to-date and correct. Not everyone shares your opinion of them.
