    FMCSA is supposed to be coming out with new guidance on this issue soon so when it does I hope it clears up some of these issues.

    My suggestion is to print out a copy of the FMCSA's website showing your exemption and keeping with with you. I also message a DOT officer with my questions and then I give a copy to the drivers so they may use it when necessary for stops.

    When I was at Overnite(now UPS Freight) our paper log sheets was from noon to noon, not from midnite to midnite. perfectly legal.
