Holland Enterprises Inc. - take the wife to orientation, then on the road from day one.

Good outfit; nice trucks, but don't know what rider policy is concerning when the wife can ride.

That has always been my position as well, it is best to make that clear right from the start so they don't think they can push you around; if they can't live with your rules then you know right away and you don't waste your time or theirs ;)

Really its only two months. They have every right to want to see what sort of a driver you are solo before letting you take a distraction along, no offence but that's what a passenger is

    Wow.

First it is the insurance company who dictates this, the company is not the one who makes the decision.

Second a lot of insurance companies limit their liabilities on coverage of the passengers, so if you get into an accident and your passenger needs some medical care down the road like care for closed head injury, the insurance company doesn't have to pay nor does their health insurance.

Amazingly you guys think this is a joy ride, where nothing ever happens but people get hurt and killed all the time, it is one of the most dangerous work around.

Really? When i set my Authority up, my policy had no mention of limitations to passengers.

Did it have limitations to how fast your truck can go? Different insurance policy.
