I really think you would ONLY run into trouble if you had to take some massive updates. Like EverQuest likes to feed you, on a regular basis.

As far as just playing. I don't think it would be an issue.

oh yeah, i'd guess wow is about 1gb of updates a year. when i installed in jan 06 it was about a 5gb installation, now in dec 08 my wow folder is running.... 16gb... that's about right....

but then again i never delete the update files, so i never have to download them again. i prolly have some 1.x files tucked away somewhere lol.

if you're a us driver playing on a 3g card, do not update wow in canada, you'll miss your next house payment.

that's good news. i bought a month of pilot wifi and running tx to ca and back i had about a 40% chance that the pilot i stopped at actually had a wifi signal.

I'm with Verizon and my cell service is great but my wireless broadband seems to be up and down.... I want to get a slingbox but not sure if my download speed will make it worthwhile. Is AT & T that good ??? I'm just outside of Richmond, Va.

As long as you have access to G3...or is it 3G. Whatever LOL

It's avaliable in most major areas/cities. And they are making headway into other areas. They have a location map, you can take a look at where you have the access.

Still, you have to be concerned about the limits. It could get costly if you're not careful.
