I switched from RM to Garmin and I really like the Garmin but I’m looking to upgrade to one I can update over WiFi. I don’t own a computer and can’t justify spending $400 on one just to update my gps. Does Garmin have any good GPS that can update over WiFi?

I spend $250 or less for laptops.
My computer was bought almost 3 years ago. It's an all in one and was on sale for $275. -
Not sure if they have such a device or not, but honestly, Garmin is not pushing updates out as often as they used to, map or software. If you can update it once every 18-24 months, you're not going to have any problems. It's more a good reason to connect to [cheap] laptop to backup for saved locations as much as anything else. I'd hate for my GPS device to take a crap and lose all of my saved shippers and receivers. I'm not sure if there is a "cloud backup" option for POI's or not.
But I do know some Garmin models have a wifi radio for connection to smartphone but map updates are in excess of 5 gb so keep this in mind, too if using your phone. -

Before my kids left the nest, I used to buy used laptops for them for about $250.00 a piece on eBay and they were really good as well. These were leased laptops used for businesses put for sale on eBay after the lease had expired. They were all cleaned and refurbished like brand new. That's what I would do if I were you. They had some for even cheaper than $250.00.

I've always gotten mine from walmart or bestbuy. Brand new. Same price.
