Ah man, i wish i had a cb shop near me. I have no idea wtf im doing. ugh
-
What did you have done, if anything, at APW Electronics? Was it worth the trip, your a brave soul to go into Austin on a Sunday ( or any day) unless its absolutely necessary.
-
Haven’t gone yet, they were closed yesterday. Gonna give them a call today.
I live in Austin so I’m used to most of this traffic.wolverine11 Thanks this. -
From reading your posts, it sounds to me like you are doing fine. I’m driving a 378 Pete, and all I needed was 7 ft of coax to reach the antenna from the cb radio. My hustler antenna tuned and works just fine. I’m just using rg 58ua coax, because that’s what I had on hand at the time. I usually use rg 8x. -
Thank you sir. Seems to be working good
-
Good deal, as long as your happy with your radios performance, that’s really all that matters. -
The term for running wire is called bonding.......Its not to be done with tour basic electrical either..You need the wide braided stuff..Try to keep it l8" or less if possible..
