You need to be under a load to see it work. And a load can be the weight of the truck itself. Take her for a test drive, you should see it move a little bit.

It should show some boost. Although not much. And when it does, it will be very quick to drop right back down.

    Is yours mechanical, or electric?

Mine won't move unless the truck is moving.

Take it out and run her around the block! Find an overpass to go over, that should get you enough load to kick in the turbo and move that gauge.

Mine bounces, it doesn't actually "move" LOL

You can tell it wants to spin up. There just isn't enough load on it, to hold it.

Take Waterloo's advise. And take it around the block. That'll tell you real quick.
