I would stay away. When I was with a small carrier (4 trucks) and pulling flat bed they underbid us on alot of loads. They simple were hauling it for free. The head shipper was a good friend and she told us the rates that others were doing stuff for and Pacer was just stupid. They were taking 44,000-48,000 pounds of steel out of Ohio to Texas for about $1.30 a mile (and no fuel surcharge).
baldeagle379 Thanks this. -
Everybody does stuff like that, as long a somebody for them will haul it for $1.30/mi then why sould they bid any higher. I am leased to them right now and yes I see cheap stuff on their board, most pays pretty good for right now, there is freight moving, not a good as it could be but not too much is. I have only been there 3 weeks so I hope once we get rid of these short weeks things will start movin again

Do you need your own trailer there or can you pull one of theres? If so how much do they charge you to use theres and what are there truck requirements yr,wheel base?
-
They have trailers you can pull, 75% your trailer, 65% their trailer. Tractor must be at least a 90, wb doesn't matter unless you run western canada with a 53' trailer
baldeagle379 Thanks this.
