I went off duty yesterday 4/10/2018 at 2:21 p.m. 34-hour reset will be complete by tomorrow 8 a.m.? Confusing the hell out of me.

If my math is right (and don't quote me on this), you should be good to drive again by between midnight and 1 am tonight. Or 8 am tomorrow if that's when you choose/are allowed to start back out.

    aussiejosh and Express12$ Thank this.

12:21am on 4/12 you'll be ready to roll, AS LONG AS you have been CONTINUOUSLY OFF DUTY since 2:21pm on 4/10

Sounds like you are thinking of the 2 periods of 5am to 8am requirement for resets? That is no longer needed. A 34 hours reset needs, at most, 34 hours.

Farmerbob1, stwik, MACK E-6 and 5 others Thank this.

Maybe it'll help if you look at it and count like this , 4/10 14:21 to 4/11 14:21 = 24hrs
    Just add ten more,would be 4/12 00:21.
Oh wait might have confused you with the 24clock.
    4/10 2:21 pm to 4/11 2:21 pm= 24hrs.
    Just add ( count) 10 more = 4/12 12:21am.
At 12:21 your reset is complete.

You just need 1 24 hour period followed by 10 more hours waiting chomping at the bit.
