yeah I should have clarified more why i don't like macro 10. You nailed it on the head when they want you to put 11/14hr in when your delivery time is 2-3 days away.

OK...I'm new to this forum, and unknown here!
But dude. I gotta say that you have one extremely active imagination. YOU trained "500" new drivers at Swift?? In 10 years?? I call BS. I know how to do the math. In 10 years that would be 50 "trainees" a year. It doesn't work like that, even at "Swift".
I am not a Swift proponent. I have never worked for Swift. However, I was a "Certified" safety officer, until 1993, when I let that certification lapse by choice. The only way you trained out 50 drivers a year, was if you only had a trainee on the truck for 3-4 days at a time, and did not take more than 14 days off during the year.
Just my opinion.Last edited by a moderator: Jan 1, 2009

Please don't take the shower heads. I had the pleasure of a high pressure wash in Lancaster the other day due to no shower head. Some of the discussion I have heard is that this will be a short term thing when customers begin complaining and drivers begin complaining.

to many variables some didnt stay a long time they had issues others which were experienced only stayed on the truck for a 2 week training period and some transfered to my rig after being booted off or getting off another for personal issues and the number is approx not exact give or take a few

If you trained only the experienced that were on the truck 2 weeks that's 26 in a years time ie. 52 weeks in a year. That's asuming you trained constantly, which very few trainers do. It still doesn't add up.

My question is why is it such a "BIG" deal any way on how many people he trained. How does it effect what you do in your daily life?
cpassey Thanks this. -
Same questions above apply to you!!

To answer your questions, it's not a "BIG" deal how many people he trained. I hope they're all doing well as drivers or even trainers themselves. Second it doesn't effect what I do in my daily life in the least. I will say any statements I make on this forum about myself or my career are open to the scrutiny of math, logic and criticism

Just say you have trained hundreds of drivers and we can put the calculator away.
