Well, not to redirect our conversation slightly, but here's to the hundreds of thousands of drivers that get our freight hauled safely!!!

 

true, but you never really hear about them. you only really hear about these wrecks. then of course, the lobbyists look for more ways to clamp down on us.

 

This is just the reality. When's the last time you heard a politician or POTUS thank the "working class" for going out there every day and working hard for a taxed wage to support all the BS expenditures they bring forth?

Sounds about right. The sun didn't go down until about 19:35, accident happened closer to 17:00

 

Upon further examination, I have come to believe that you (and others that suggested the same) are right. I will surrender my Internet CSI Merit Badge first thing Monday morning.

It doesn't change the responsibility for the accident as the truck driver has to ensure he is able to clear the intersection without interfering with cross traffic before entering it. I still believe the truck driver rolled the stop because I don't think there is any way the wreckage could have ended up where it did if he had come to a full stop first.
