Hi everybody, I'm From lancaster PA and just got my CDL through a private school, but up to this point have had no luck finding some work. I browsed the net and found this site and hope I can call this place home and maybe find the work I've been looking for. Hope to get to know you guys soon!

Hey Kid:
welcom.
I'm from ne Pa. (near scranton).
I'm suprised your school did'nt bring in recruters to help with job placement.
It can be tough to find tractor trailer work without a year or so under your belt. dont worry about it ask for some interviews,be a stand up guy and some one will give you a shot for sure. possibly concider a job as a yard jockey for a year or two. I did that for two years. it will make you one of the best back up guys anywhere.
good luck with whatever you decide.

Wow Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I really do appreciate it

yes I did go to Mount joy, and though a few recruiters came by, I ran into someone at Red Rose who said that they needed drivers so after I got my CDL I went back and was turned away, I came to hear that red rose had lost alot of the contracts it had to another company and was therefore downsizing. -
hey there Kid welcome to the forum and best of luck out here
