Regardless of his financial situations, I hope he reads TTR and does right by his family. We have a child that leaves us hanging with no communication for months at a time.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? Anyhue, my idea of good money and your idea of good money may be entirely different. Personally, I'm just excited to see what it's like to have full control of the wheel for awhile. Even if I fail miserably, I'll try to learn something along the way. I just talked to somebody currently working there who is doing well and loves it. Since I'm from Phoenix I'm kind of worried about the rates getting out and getting in but in 2 weeks I'll see for myself. The biggest adjustment will probably be getting used to a big company again and trying to learn the Schneider way. Where I'm coming from, paperwork was minimum, they leave you alone, no safety videos ever unless you screw up, etc. Sounds like Schneider is a 180 from that. I'm thinking they'll be a bit like Werner which was my first company out of school.

Nope, Schneider will leave you alone so long as you're on time and don't break anything

I don't plan on staying in this area. I will stay out 4 weeks minimum and head into the Midwest. Maybe a jump to Texas and up. No west coast or NE for me. I don't need to be home all the time.
