John, following you will find your October 2008 monthly financial statement.

In looking at the October financials, you are showing a Net Profit of $53,882 for
the year-to-date period. This comes out to $0.435 cents per mile and is based
on 123,959 paid miles. You are averaging 12,396 paid miles per month this year
compared with 12,586 monthly miles you averaged last year. You were out on
the road 272 days through the end of October 2008 (89% in service) and
averaged 456 miles for each day you were out.

Your maintenance expense for the first ten months of 2008 was $6,478 or $0.052
cpm and your tractor supplies expense was $322 or $0.003 cpm. Together your
variable tractor expenses remain right in line with expectations.

Fuel costs averaged $0.583 cpm less fuel surcharge reimbursements of $0.446.
This results in a net fuel cost of $0.137 which continues to be an excellent net
    fuel cost.

there is no question that if you get with a good company you can make more money but you can have more deductions as an owner -op like buying a pickup and writing it off but the main thing is i work when i want and only go where i want to go which is worth more to me than just the money:biggrin_25525:

Sacred Feline and SheepDog Thank this.

JDrnetzjr those look like some solid numbers for the year even in a bad economy, its what you put into it that's what you will get back. Keep them wheels turnin and the money will always follow.

    Drive Safe for 2009!
