iv seen more activity lately. nothing like it once was and i have not heard of anyone paying rates that would make me want to go back to oil field hauling, but id say its not as dead as it has been the last few years.

I work in the Utica and every winter I say that’s it I’m leaving the oilfield or going to Texas. I would never even consider North Dakota. Maybe it’s a little bit more money but you can go to any patch in the country and make good money. A few extra thousand a year isn’t worth the kind of cold you can die in.

lol I feel the same way about NM and West TX lol heat that can kill you and you can't take the FRC's off... atleast in ND you can wear more under FRC's.... but atleast I'm in a hot shot truck with A/C not out in the worst of it and I get to go home at some point and sleep in a real bed... no Man Camps so far

Exactly, not worth it in my opinion, but on the up side less competition out there...if your willing to work in those conditions. Heard its like mud season out in ND from all the melting snow/ice....
