    Good evening everyone,
I have a complete used Thermo King Tripac APU on my Volvo VNL 780. Can anyone tell me where I can get a good installation at a decent price not too high? About how much does it cost? Thanks in advance for any info!

Have you checked with TK? They do charge slightly more but they are by far best when it comes to installing there own equipment and they can make sure it has no issues.

Did you have 150 gallons tanks or 125? I am asking because I am trying to figure it out if I need to change 1 of the fuel tank to 125. Thank you

On 2007 - 780 without DPF had dual 150 gal tanks. I had plenty space to mount the unit on frame under passenger seat, between fuel tank and front fairing/step support bracket.
On 2010 - 780 with DPF 150 gal on driver side and 125 gal on pass side. I installed unit in the same spot, was a little tighter. After installation there was only about half inch clearance between the left side of unit and bracket in front of fuel tank with enough room on right side for unit radiator/condenser fan clearance. One issue with this was the Ishift air tank is mounted inside the frame on pass side and the bolts were kinder in the way preventing the back of the unit to sit flat against the frame and I didn’t feel like moving the air tank, so I doubled the TK mounting block between the unit and frame, used a longer grade 8 bolts and nuts with lock washer and it worked out fine. This moved the unit outward about another half inch with a tiny clearance between front of unit and fairing rails. It’s well over a year now and every time I check everything is good in place.
The third was on my brothers Freightliner cascadia, obviously you don’t need that.
One little advice when installing the unit make sure it’s level and mounting bolts are good and tight but do not stretch the bolts.
