On mine there are two main battery connections on firewall for cab. Maybe check those. Just about dead center above valve cover.

Thanks. Actually found the issue(s) today once I got back. Those ground wires on the firewall we're a bit loose. So I removed them and cleaned them up a bit. And the main ground wire was sorta loose as well,so that got cleaned up and tightened. Seems better now.

It's going to the dealer in early May for the other issues.

    vikingswen and Cetane+ Thank this.

First of all I thought I was the only one they had been problems, i’ve learned a lot the past year with my star, first thing you need to do is read your owners manual. The problem with the bunk is you need to unslave the systems and make them run independently that seems to help with mine,it does the same things.
I’ve had 6 A/C compressors go out in a years time and the dealer just pissed me off and said they left metal in the system
I told all of the issues I was having but they wouldn’t listen to me so I just read the manual it helped

Can you provide details? We had a wire cut on one of the newer ones and i guess the dealer cut the wrong wire which opened up a world of other problems. So what did you do to allow the 4 ways to flash while the brakes are engaged?

Update, i see the question was answered already. Did anyone have any problems after cutting the wire? This is for a 2003.

Any details on that? I have nothing for the climate control system in my truck. A/C just quit again, but figured it out. After unplugging high and low pressure switches it started blowing cold again.

In case I have not posted this before. You can get trouble codes on climate control system by holding red temperature control down for several seconds after turning off fan speed. If you want to change system from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Turn fan speed to off and hold blue button down and it will give the option to change it.

Yes to UN slave the systems go to the bunk and hold down the + - buttons at the same time and it will say on the bunk control panel sla off then you can turn up the temperature in your bunk to a comfortable setting I have mine at night I’ll shut the front off and turn it on in the back, the front blower will turn on and blow air out of the front when the temperature is reached the front and the AC compressor will run for five minutes and then it will shut off, or me a comfortable temperature in the bunk is around 79 to 81 Degrees I read that all about the phone off at night in the owners manual

I got 09 4900fa.every time i hit bump on the road i get noise from passenger side of the dash.(almost sounds like something is hitting inside the dash). According to the last owner it started the noise after he had the wiper motor replaced.anybody had similar issues.i would hate to tare apart the whole dash just to find it something simple.

Martin had something similar with his 09, it ended up being a loose bracket behind the glovebox. Glovebox is easy to remove, I’d pull that and see what you see.
