I ve seen a few Werner trucks running about 68-70. Also I ve seen some Schneider trucks running between 68-71 as well
-
Correct me if I am wrong. However I am under the impression that operating a CMV in Canada without a governor set at 65 MPH was illegal. I would think this if true might also limit this.
-
I think just in Ontario and Quebec. Not that I go there anymore.

sounds pretty scary. ........ ok a newbie really can't help where he starts out so this really isn't for them but you would think after about 4 months out of driving school you start figuring out that anybody with more than a year here seems mentally challenged and maybe I should start looking for a good job
Texas_hwy_287 and Brickwall Thank this. -

I actually think it's the other way around..I think fast trucks, or should I say guys that drive fast create more traffic problems. Slow trucks will always be in the right lane, so the easy solution is to get around them. I see so many drivers doing 75 or more at times...speed kills. I don't find it safe to drive that fast, especially with a heavy load.
-
Right!!!!! I don't understand why people think faster is better....it's more about how long the driver side door is closed, and when you travel
-
Yes life would be more dangerous. Cars and trucks should go the same speed.

I turned my truck down to 70 had it 70 on cruise 90 on pedal so I could pass people at 69 in a reasonable time but fuel mileage was killing me because I ended up going 75 most of the time so just turned it down to 70 on both ... my driver can be a moron at times as well as my dumb driver manager and idiot load planner .......
