You have a stupid, vain belief that my turn signal is a suugestion, Or believe that passing me or cutting me off in a snow storm will somehow keep your car from getting dirty! This means you, the idiot who wrecked your Tahoe in Kenosha, WI this morning doing close to 75 MPH on glare ice. Is your car dirty now?

You are a yuppie liberal PETA member in a Toyota Prius with all kinds of environmentally conscious bumper stickers on your car. I guess my 2 minute jaunt passing 3 slow trucks (slower than mine) in the hammer on the I-90 tollway wasn't quick enough for you. Thyis was two summers ago, just prior to the 4th of July weekend. She told me I was "number 1", and failed to notice the large white SUV with yellow stickers that said "Motor Carrier Enforcement" sitting in the middle. For once justice was served! :smt068
Lilbit Thanks this. -
wow the sad part is they wanna hang us if we even think about doing the same thing they do lol if ppl would stop and think about what they are doing and that it would piss them off if someone did it to them, hell we'd figure out the meaning to peace on earth. i try to do that everyday, and it has made my life so much more peaceful and fulfilled than it ever used to be, and that's just from trying and sometimes not succeeding.

How about this........Friday I was doing my ROAD TEST for my CDL, first intersection we come to I am making a left turn so I keep it going straight till it is time to start my turn when I check my mirror and there is some idiot on a crotch rocket coming up on the drivers side of my trailer! I just had to stop in the middle of the intersection for him to cut in front of me while making his left turn! All of this during my ROAD TEST!
Thankfully I still passed! -

You might be a 4-wheeler if,,,,
You honestly think the cop on the side of the road with his lights flashing, is gonna uncuff that perp, get back in his cruiser, and cite you for going 5 over.
It's the bears you DON'T see that bite you. -

I don't know if this is the right thread for this or not, but I have to VENT!
Today I was running down I95 southbound. Traffic was moderate. So I'm hammering down the granny lane, truck maxed out at the whopping 60 mph it's governed down to loaded with 42000+ lbs of canned soup, a steady line of cars and trucks passing me. I'm approaching the last off ramp in South Carolina when a little car with Nova Scotia plates just clears my hood and whips over in front of me then hits the brakes an weaves into, out of, back into the off ramp! Needless to say she didn't hear the colorful language that came spewing from my mouth as I was hard braking down to avoid rearending her, but I know she heard the blast from the airhorn!
So, a while later, I'm going through Savanna Ga, traffic is heavier. I'm still in the granny lane, a car hauler coming up beside me as we approach I16 when all of the sudden, an Effingham County sherriff car whips in front of the car hauler, ( 95 is 3 lanes each way there ), and cuts in front of me! He's so close I can see nothing of the car except the light bar! Which, by the way, was NOT lit up. Instinctively, I start gently braking down to put some space between us. Just as his taillights come into my vision, the sorry SOB jams on his brakes so hard the car nosedives! I mashed the brakes harder but I just knew it wouldn't be enough. I could feel all that soup surging forward and I just knew my 77500 lbs truck was gonna crush that cop car along with the passenger he had in the back seat! Ther was no where else to go. The car hauler was just past me, but there was another vehicle eight behind him, and on the right were a line of cars coming up the on ramp.
This sorry excuse for a LEO brakes down to TAKE THE OFF RAMP!, cutting off me AND the cars coming up the on ramp!
By the grace of God, he cleared the lane before I hit him. How, I don't know. How the JB Hunt driver behind me kept from rearending me, causing a chain reaction pile up I don't know. By the time I stopped braking, I had to go into 2nd gear I was doing so slow!
When I got passed being scared stupid I was burning angry! Ok, the fool from Nova Scotia I kinda get, just another mindless 4 wheeler. But the LEO, that's a different story. Like a truck driver, he's supposed to be a professional, setting the example! Especially when he's transporting someone trapped in the back seat of his car!
And for anyone thinking that, hey, he's got a stressful job, he was probably having a bad day or anything of that nature, how far would any of those excuses gotten me had the situation been reversed? Can you say "unsafe lane change, reckless endangerment? Those are the least of the citaions I'd have gotten had a LEO seen a big truck pull that stunt!
I know for a fact that it's illegal for a LEV to violate ANY traffic laws, including speeding, if they are not running signal 10 but it's done all the time. Where is the enforcfement over the enforcers?
Just down the road, the northbound scales are backed up clear past the ramp, a platoon of DOT's harrassing drivers, checking paperwork. How many 4 wheelers were pulled over to have their paperwork checked? Valid license? proof of insurance? Current registration? Not a one, hence, to me, harrassment aimed at truck drivers.
Ok, done venting now. Back to the thread -

the post about cars pulling past the stop bar reminded me of when my husband was a city driver. he was making a right turn on a narrow street when a guy in a car pulled past the bar. my husband couldnt make the turn, the guy wouldnt move, he did it on purpose. my husband calmly reached to the passenger seat and picked up a book and started reading it. lol. the guy backed up and all was well
