Like in all things there is a learning curve. My first driver could not find anyone to hire her. They saw the problems. I saw the possibilities. If you are willing to work hard and are a self starter, they you have to realize that the driver is the only one in the company who brings in money. Dispatchers add nothing to the value of a company. Therefore, I don't have them. My drivers find their own loads. Using brokers but also by selling themselves to customers. We are in debt but growing out of it. Do no sell yourself for cheap.

I don't know where you live but if you pay your own way for your cdl in a good school you will have a lot of options. There are some good companies that hire new drivers. Western express is the kind of company you go to after you have 3 tickets 2 accidents and just failed a drug test. Set you sights higher.
