When someone with a badge asks you if you have any weapons when he comes to the door of your vehicle how do you answer that ? From law enforcement ?

Tell the truth. Either way it doesn't matter much. If someone with a badge decides it's your day to die there's not much you can about it.

It depends on who you ask. My wife says that my farts are weapons of mass destruction.

In general, I would assure the officer that I am not in posession of any weapons and let him decide all on his own what he wants to think about my posession of a sledgehammer, crowbar, box-cutter, chains, cords, sprayable lubricant, truck, or whatever other tools I happen to have with me.

If you happen to have a gun or a machete or bear-spray or something else which is commonly regarded as a "weapon", then stay calm and courteous and tell the officer about it if he asks, and be ready to tell him anything else he might care to know about it (such as where it is, what you have it with you for, whether or not you are familiar with the local laws governing weapons, etc.). -- Make sure you at least aren't giving the officer any reason why he should use his weapons.

    OK....(X-LEO)
    1) There are plenty of circumstances.
But the simple way to proceed would be.
    2) after the question comes up the best repky woukd be: (respectfully) **Officer "Smith"...it is my understanding that this is a Traffic Stop. Do you have any questions related to this Traffic stop.?? repeat the same statement every time he repeats the question, always very respectfully and if he insists then request the presence of the Sargeant (shift supervisor). If You have a CCW....then make sure you know and understand ALL the details of the reciprocity Act of the State you are driving Thru.
    Stay Out of trouble.....HAPPY TRAILS..!!!
