i was told that stevens was not accepting anymore students

Im leaving for stevens driving school on jan 16th . i hope i dont get that call to

 

alot of places have put a freeze in affect right now. alot of them do in the winter with grads and students, just a safety aspect, better to start you when conditions are better and have all summer to get use to trk and trailer and everything else including confidence level. But with the economy the way it is rght now, freezes are in affect just about everywhere unfortunatly even for those of us with exp. But alot of companies are also putting freezes on areas they normally hire from, if frieght where you live is getting harder to get right now, or its turned into such a price war that they are not hualing it that cheaply, its just the way of the industry. i wish you both luck, and honestly, stevens would not have been the one to choose. you might want to read up on the company on here and posts about them. Your better off, to pay for school, dont lock yourself into a company by letting them pay for it, if it dont work out, ya, you can leave, but they will get thier money owed to them, so now your working at another company just to hand it over to them to pay the thousands you now owe them. food for thought, and remember, tax season is here, refund, thats how I and many others have paid for thiers, and you will have more pride for that lic and take care of it better. just make sure the school is no less then 120hrs, or good luck finding a company to hire ya.

as far as I know we do. If i remeber right, we have drivers from there. we have a terminal in Indy and green bay to run midwest regions. nice thing is no new england states at all.
