    I have a 1995 3406e currently at 435 hp. Serial number 5ek38848. What are the best mods to do gain a little more power. 3 wire mod? Boost wire mod? Changing trims to 5232? If so where can I find instructions on the wire mods. Thanks.

    You want power done right,then you need a better program in your ecm.

    Forget the stupid wires and trim codes.

    first I would be finding out is exactly what turbo, injectors and file you have. if the engine internal iron is suited you can re-rate with a genuine cat file.

    6999,4242 or 5232 trims will add significantly more fuel. if your turbo is not correct it will cause back pressure, high pyro temps, high cylinder temps and increase in cylinder pressure. this will drastically reduce the life of your engine.

    maybe provide us with what turbo, inj and flashfile you currently have. given the age of your engine it would be foolish to assume its still identical to caterpillar test spec
