They run alot of teams and run freightshaker columbia's and volvo 780's. Other than that i don't know to much about them.

I think I will give them a call tomorrow just to see what they have I think they have a terminal in Lakeland not to far from the house about 45 minutes from me maybe I just don't know about teams. If they have someone close to me that will be ok. as long as they want to work.

I think anything thats in florida is something to be careful about.Not much good coming from fl anymore

If you want to sit around between loads it will be ok, I do not belive in telling lies, this company will not deadhead you, they wait till a load becomes available in the area in which you delivered, it could be 1 day or 3 it all depends on availability of loads. The equipment they have is very good expecially the volvo they are very driver friendly. They do lie though so watch your self out of a 10 i would give them a 4. donot missinturpret company policy though you will get fired. good luck

Thanks for the info. Called a few days ago and they are looking for 6 month to a year exp. So that puts me out for now.

I couldnt agree more! i drive for them now and am looking just as hard as i can. I just looked me up on the compant site to find my avg gross pay is 601 bucks thats not much we have been getting between 1800 and 3300 miles a week. i'm not impressed at all. Any way if any of yall know of any good reefer companies out there let me know my co driver and i are ready to hit the produce sheds again i'm tired of this dry van stuff..
The worst part of landspan is you will go to LA and del. then go to the fontana yard and might be 50 trucks ahead of you on the list with 10 loads on the yard and they hold the loads till the last possible minute to dispatch them. For example we picked up a load that del. in marcy new york it had a 850 mile a day avg my calculations are thats 5950 miles on a 7 day week. who is gonna gripe on that? Well they hold them till you get a 12 to 1300 mile a day avg thats gonna keep it tight for eating, showers ,weather and so on. Its not for me i dont like this 55 mph avg in a 65 mph truck just to sit 3 or 4 days for another load. its alot of hurry up and wait. I like a e-z steady pace so i want more money and easier steady work. But if you like to sit in the dark [ all they tell you is you are number -- in line and thats if you ask them first they dont volenteer] and drive a nice company truck but not overly fancy its great. we got a 780 volvo with a 485 vovlo eng 13 spd, cd player and a tri pac apu but that dont pay my bills.

Does not sound like they have changed a lot in the last few years, I used to Team for them in '04 when they had the FL Classics. The trucks were really nice but the dispatchers could not organize a orgy in a brothel...no appointments no matter how many times you asked and then a QC asking why you are not at the appointment ....
It is a shame - they could be a pretty good company if they could just get it sorted out.. -
that's a fact it could be a real good company they just have a lot of issues to work out. now they bribe you on the west coast to get on a huff fleet 'high utilization freight fleet' they want you to take a 10cpm team pay cut. to load you out early and that aint right i'm sorry. anyhow they just need work on issues

Thats sucks...who in their right mind would accept a 10cpm cut just to get loaded....but I guess it depends on how much one has made for the week already...money is tight these days and it is pretty low of a company to bribe you like this knowing that....sad, real sad.
