Marten sucks , lousey company. They are like Knight. I have a buddy who worked in saftey there and he told me a lot of nighmare stories. I have been driving for a long time and there are a lot of companies much better then blue bird. Send me a pm if you want some better recomendations.
TheRealPorkChopExpress, Waterboy334 and driverdriver Thank this. -
I have done OTR with Marten recently. It's 3000 mi. a week. The runs averaged in the 600-700 mi range . But you have to make sure you're dispatched out of Mondovi.

Well they told me orientation was in mondovi so I guess it would be out of there. Are they true OTR or just pretty much stay east of i35?
-
True OTR.

Don't believe the recruiting propaganda is all I can say! If you like getting micro managed by a college kids, getting screwed out of your home time, love running Chicago Rail Yards... Well Marten might just be for you. 1800 miles a week is average. Marten Transport has become a JB Hunt clone!
Waterboy334 Thanks this. -
Talk to Marten drivers on the road to get a good read on things.

I have a friend there now and he was lied to about cpm, then dispatch even hung up on him while he was at a fuel pump and his fuel card wouldn't work. List goes on. I was considering going over there, but after hearing what he's gone thru, not so sure anymore.

Don't you work in the office at SRT?
