Heard that sister. Hopefully the moderators can open up a new subforum community/group that has human drivers come together to combat the autonomous self driving trucks.

When they eventually hit the road.....we'll hit harder

When they can use self-driving trucks in this kind of hauling I'll start to worry.
But I probably won't start worrying any time soon.

Because it takes a highly trained professional CDL holder to strap and chain?

All you professionals need to realize you're a business expense. Look at the current climate. The bar is being lowered every single day.

The professional American long haul trucker is being phased out as we speak. Right now it's immigrants willing to work for less. Technology will eventually replace them.

Yeah they're going to sue the insurance company, the babysitter in the truck, the company, and probably the manufacturer too. I do believe some company like swift or Werner is going to try driverless trucks and it's going be the end of said company.

Exactly if you have a computer it can be hacked, but some guy with only a high school diploma ain't going to be able to tell them that so I'll be here to clean up the mess.

Naw we have ice cream trucks and race cars to fall back on. Those will always need human drivers.

Well I’m hazmat and load and unload my own trailer. #### can’t be unattended ever. If I’m not driving I’ll still be there watching my load

That said (I have not any research) someone in here claimed millions are being spent. LOL. Chump change. Get back to me when they are 10 billion spent, and i might start to be scared

Google/Alphabet market cap is over 700 billion, 10 billion is chump change.
