Hey Folks, New here and kinda feeling my way around. I drove team with my ex-hubby back in 01 for 6 mths with CFI. (wonderful company back then by the way) I had to give up my CDL due to bp problems but I'm healthy again and ready to get back out there. I talked with an agent for Driver solutions to drive for Pam. He said my app looked great and there shouldn't be a problem getting me in school but with the economy tanking i'm kinda wondering if I should talk to Prime. Food is recession proof and it makes sense that a reefer company is going to get miles even if everything else is hitting bottom. Any advice? I can't quit my warehouse job only to starve to death out on the road. I plan on starting school at the end of Feb or the first of March. Thanks

Going with a food distribution outlet makes alot of sense. Like you said food is recession proof. i don't know enough about either company to give you a good reply. But I will say that you can search the forum and find info on both of those outfits. Hope that helps, glad to hear that you're healthy again, and welcome to the forum.
