If the safety director clearly said these things are to turn on only for hard brakes, hitting the dock hard etc, then isn’t it illegal if the camera starts recording literally when you put your turn signal on, four ways, changing lanes....
Inside and out facing camera turns on randomly

Nothing illegal about it at all.
snowlauncher Thanks this. -
Welcome to the future. In time you will learn to ignore that thing.

Did you just have them installed? I think some cameras can be adjusted to different levels of sensitivity. We had a couple weeks where there was a huge increase of videos recorded of guys just going over railroad tracks, turning into driveways and accelerating and braking. We complained to the safety manager and after a couple weeks it went down to the usual numbers/kinds of videos.

If your that concerned about it , why did you take a job with a ride along babysitter.DSK333, WildTiger1990 and snowlauncher Thank this.

Is it recording or maybe it lights up when it does an upload?
-
It also will turn on for following distance
-
Lol babysitter was added recently ... 6 months ago... actually didn’t go off when someone pulled out in front of me out of their driveway and I t-boned them, so they took it out for repairs and 5 months later it’s back in ... today it starts recording when I turn on my blinker
-
It’s for sure recording
if it’s only for the purpose of abnormal movements and heavy braking ... how is it ok? -
About 6 months ago ... but mine got taken out 5 months ago for repairs...and they finally remembered to put it back in yesterday . rest of our tractors are having the same problem... just doesn’t seem right
